- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and DOT physical (if applicable)
- Must have own transportation to and from job site, and must be at the job site working by the designated start time
- Hours on job may vary
- Required to have hammer, tape, nail apron, utility knife, safety toed shoes, and rubber overshoes
- Responsible for the quality of the finished concrete slab
- Ensure that the job site is clean and professional looking before leaving
- Ability to inspect machinery and perform basic maintenance including but not limited to checking oil levels, gas/oil mix, and lubricating parts as needed
- Finishers are required to work with the crew on set up and other duties prior to the pour
- Job will include bull-floating, power troweling, brooming, shooting grade, nailing of forms, screeding sand, placing and tying rebar, shoveling sand, stripping forms, leveling concrete, sealing or curing concrete, installing sump or floor drains, operating a skid steer, cutting control joints or applying zip strip, using a wheelbarrow, running a plate compacter, measuring and accurately cutting forms
