Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and DOT physical (if applicable)

Must have own transportation to and from job site and be on site working by the designated start time

Travel out of town may occasionally be required

Must have own hammer, tape, nail apron, safety toed boots, and rubber overshoes

Lift, carry, and set up forms: requires twisting, bending, and lifting of 50–100 pounds

Must be able to operate a concrete vibrator, skill saw, demo saw, drill, jumping jack, plate compactor, and jack hammer

Dig, spread, and screed fill materials using picks, shovels, and other tools
-
Must have the ability to measure and cut lumber accurately
-
Set-up slabs, footings, and walls
-
Ability to inspect machinery and perform basic maintenance such as checking oil levels, gas/oil mix, and lubricating parts as needed

Ability to screed concrete in flatwork, footings, and walls
-
Ability to cut, bend, place, and tie rebar
-
Must take proper care of tools and keep them clean and free of concrete
-
Wall crew members must have the ability to walk on top of foundation forms
-
Install drain tile in basement exteriors and interiors
-
Ability to nail up brick and slab ledge along with block outs for windows and doors
-
Scrape down wood and aluminum forms to keep them free of concrete build up
-
Keep job sites clean and professional looking by picking up trash and debris on a daily basis

Willingness to learn from the crew foreman and other members of the crew

Other tasks and duties as assigned
